 Principal's Message
Dear Parents:
I am honored to serve you and your child as principal at Deer Chase.  We know your experience with us will be educationally rewarding.  It is our goal to continuously provide the best instructional practices for our students.  At Deer Chase we are committed to providing a quality learning experience in a safe, orderly, and friendly school environment.

Mission and Vision Statement

The mission of Deer Chase Elementary School is to provide the foundation for our students' life-long learning by furnishing opportunities for them to flourish academically, physically, artistically, socially and emotionally in a nurturing, yet rigorous environment.

The vision of Deer Chase Elementary School is to promote the highest standards of learning and behavior in our students. This will be achieved by providing a rigorous curriculum, which will demand the highest performance expectations in academics, personal conduct and self-responsibility. The parents, community and school will work as an alliance to certify that our students learn and become productive citizens of a forever changing society.

Last Day of School Information

Comprehensive High School students will dismiss at 12:00 pm and Magnet School students in grades 9-12 will dismiss at 12:45 pm on Thursday, May 21, 2015.  Elementary and Middle School students in grades PreK-8 will dismiss at their normal times on Friday, May 22, 2015.  We hope everyone has a wonderful summer!
